Product Care

To ensure a safe and enjoyable candle burning experience, please follow these guidelines.

During your first candle burn, make sure that the melt pool reaches the full diameter of the candle. This prevents tunneling.

Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours. We recommend burning in cycles of 2-3 hours. This maximizes an even burn and helps maintain the appropriate fragrance throw.

Expect a crackle each time you burn your candle. We use crackling wooden wicks.

Make sure to trim your wick in between burns where the wood naturally breaks off. This will prevent sooting. You can trim the wick by gently pinching the burnt bits off with your fingers when the candle is completely cooled, or you can use a pair of wick trimmers

If you experience sooting after you burn your candle, simply dampen a towel or cloth with water and wipe the surface clean.

When not in use, store your candles upright in a cool and dry environment, and away from direct sunlight. After our candles are cured, they get better with time.

Once you've burned through your candle, clean out any remaining wax with hot water, then remove the wick and wick clip. Once clean, reuse the vessel at home however you'd like!
